He also has advanced training in the treatment of whiplash and brain injury traumatology from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. He is a former sports biomechanics research assistant for the United States Olympic Committee. He is involved in local youth sports organizations and is a certified youth sports coach in Anne Arundel County with a special interest in baseball.
